Hey all you people out there who lost your homes because Dubya crashed the economy, get ready to sue the US government for your losses.
Jerry: That's exactly the kind of thing that could happen under this law. Talk about unintended consequences.
Perhaps the law should be amended to make the politicians personally responsible for the losses.
It was also a well kept secret that when "W" visited Pope John Paul II (Which made for a lot of great internet jokes) he also presented a bill that the Republican Congress ramroaded through that released the Vatican from any liability from any kind of lawsuits for damages regarding molestation charges against priest, even if they knew about it.
I also have to believe they had plenty of time under Bush to enact this bill, they obviously waited for the Kenyan to get in. Sounds like some of them are showing some buyers remorse as the next sound you hear is the Saudis giving us four dollar gas again.

And this is the old hag that categorically stated that Donald Trump is unqualified to be president. The "Mad-am" Hillary Clinton has no clue as to what it takes to meet be in a position to manage precious resources to maximize shareholder value or even hire or fire productive personnel. She wouldn't know what to do to "Make this Country Great Again"
And Yee Gads, just think of her in a meaningful conversation with Isreal? She has no love at all for the Jewish State. Her Gal Pal Huma wouldn't allow it anyway!
And she declares that she alone is the only one in the race who knows what they are doing. What kind of idiocy is this? I drew this conclusion over 8 years ago, and nothing whatsoever has changed. Hillary Clinton is still the same stupid leftist Marxist socialist that she has always been. And now that she has a Muslin as her Gal Friday, things will only get worse
If elected, she will drive our floundering economy completely into the ground.
You can take that to the bank. Assuming, of course, that there are any banks still solvent.
Jerry: Excellent idea. That would certainly be poetic.
Erik: Good point about the Republicans' Child-Diddlers' Protection Act that Dumbya ordered them to pass. And no doubt they could have passed this 9/11 bill any time, but they wanted to bring this hot-button issue front and center during the election campaign. And it's already backfired. A lot of Republicans are saying they didn't know enough about this bill before they passed it, and they're blaming Obama for not babysitting for them and holding their hands and going over the bill with them word for word.
I appreciate the shout out Mr. Brown, even though I left no comment on this thread and disagree with what you say.
