Sad but also too funny. These poor bastards are so afraid Donald Trump is going to beat them at their own game that I think they'd run Satan for Prez if they could convince him (I think he'd be too smart to try).

Oh well -- let this be the demise (at long last) of the Republiscum party.

Let's hope it's the demise of the Republican't Party and not of the United States. If any one of the current candidates gets elected and we don't get control of Congress...that could be the case. I will admit that I am damned concerned.

SM: I think it's funny and poetic that the rightwads are scared shitless of Trump, and at the same time they're totally dumbfounded by his popularity; totally oblivious to the fact that Trump is their own Frankenstein. They made their bed of thorns and now they have to lay down in it.

jadedj: I think the country will survive no matter what. I'm pretty optimistic that the Senate and White House will go Democratic. But even if our worst fears come true, a Republican lock on the White House and both branches of Congress would have an equal and opposite reaction throughout the country and the world. Tens of millions of people would be jolted awake, thinking "WTF??? What happened? We have to stop this!!!"

But I still hope that worst case scenario doesn't happen.

The whole idea is crazy! Why vote for the man who created Democrats, Liberals, Muslims, Gay People, Immigrants, Heathens, Pagans, Atheist, and (in other words) everybody they're not?

Erik: I still hope Trump gets the nomination instead of Cruz or Rubio. Rubio is slick enough that he could actually win a general election. Cruz is batshit crazy, but there are millions of "Christian" Fundamentalists/Dominionists/Evangelicals who might all turn out and vote Cruz into the White House.

I want Trump to hurry up and clinch the nomination, and then the rest of us can all turn our focus on defeating Trump in November.
