SCOTUS shoots down the Teabirthers' Lawsuit. Again.

It's a relief of course that the Supreme Court has ruled 6 to 3 AGAINST the umpteenth corporate-financed lawsuit against the Affordable Care Act.  But this decision was such a no-brainer, how else could they rule?

If six million Americans had had their health insurance yanked away from them because a 5-word phrase in the middle of the 2,000-page Affordable Care Act might, just might, might could mean something slightly different than what was clearly spelled out in that phrase:  imagine the ripple effect...

When you pull up to a Stop sign, you can no longer just stop, look to make sure there's no oncoming traffic, and then go.  Nope.  That was then.  From now on, a Stop sign means STOP.  That's it.  So you pull up, Stop, and then sit there until you receive further instructions.

And pronouns would pretty much disappear from people's conversations.  When you say Johnny stubbed his toe, the listener is 99.99% certain that you mean Johnny stubbed Johnny's toe.  But you can't assume.  From now on, that obvious fact will have to spelled out every time.

Etc.

Well we've been hearing it all along. All these House votes to repeal that go nowhere. Now that they control both houses I haven't seen a vote yet. Whereas they were talking about repealing, now they talk about fixing!

Just how do you fix something you don't think should be there in the first place?

Has anybody noticed just because SCOTUS legalized it doesn't mean the GOP can't still repeal it. Right?

The Balls in their court!

Erik: I'm sure the GOP will keep trying to repeal it for decades to come. Even if that's not their intent, they have to keep talking about it so their inbred minions will stay all fired up.

Of course Boner will try everything he can to screw everybody else. Why should he care he has health care that we pay for. They tried 22 times to rid the system of SS which, since companies have shed pensions, are now some people's soul source of retirement.

The system as it now stands needs work. For older workers it isn't so affordable.

As for Johnny unless there's video evidence that he did indeed stub his toe then it never happened. And even with video a good lawyer can prove otherwise it seems. Get my drift there?

Demeur: And no doubt Boner and his fellow Kochsuckers don't see any irony in the fact that they're receiving all the tax-financed benefits that their constituents (whose taxes are paying their salaries) aren't supposed to have.
