John Boehner: “I’ve Never Been Sober a Day in My Life, for God’s Sake!”

During an interview last Tuesday, John Boehner (R—Jack Daniels) said:

“But the president has never created a job. He's never even had a real job, for God's sake.  And I can tell you from my dealings with him, he has no idea how the real world, that we actually live in, works.”

In the Real World According to John Boehner, life is an endless flow of booze, bribes from secret donors, booze, placing one’s hands around one’s ankles in order to earn those aforementioned bribes, and booze.

Whatever Boehner’s definition of “a real job” is, it doesn’t apply to Congress’ “work” during this current session.  The House has voted sixty times to name or rename a post office.  How many times has the House voted to rescue the U.S. Postal Service from its financial crisis, which was CREATED by Congress’ Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006?  ZERO.

And the House has voted thirty-three times — yes that’s thirty-three — to repeal Obama’s Affordable Care Act.

YOUR tax dollars at work.

But to his credit, John Boehner has probably created a few jobs himself.  If he were to suddenly quit drinking, God only knows how many bartenders would be out of work.

Can't comment about the drinking part, one of my favorite pastimes as well. But, talk about someone who has never had a real job... look no further than the GOP's man of the hour, Willard.

Come on now. Don't forget all the lawyers they have employed taking DOMA and LGBT stuff to court. See, you libruls, not willing to give all the facts so people can make informed decisions. One last thing the pugs nationwide have been doing, looking for jobs, they have been all up in the uteri of vagina-Amrukans. Mine has not produced jobs yet but hey they'll still look in there, so keep your fingers crossed I can create jobs up in there.

As if teaching college students isn't a job. As if helping other people find and get into jobs isn't a job.

As usual, Boehner is either lying or bloviating when he doesn't know what he's talking about. Maybe if too much artificial-tanning cream gets into the bloodstream and mixes with alcohol it speeds up the brain pickling process.

Yep and not to forget all the sign makers and three corner hat makers for the Tea Bag crowd. Can't forget those jobs. Oh, but I forgot that's done by Chinese workers. Never mind.

Mr. C: I have nothing against alcohol. Mostly I've always hated Boehner because he's so blatantly owned and operated by corporate conglomerates.

Jess: You're right, the millions of tax dollars he's spending to defend DOMA -- this money has enabled countless lawyers to put food on their families.

SW: LOL. Tanning cream and alcohol are a lethal combination.

Demeur: I'm afraid the signs and three corner hats are all made in the same Chinese sweatshop as the "Support Our Troops" yellow ribbons.

Everytime he and the President go golfing they keep the Caddies employed.

Politicians are either elected or appointed. They go review, they can vote their own salary, their own living expenses, Perks like a gym, a spa, a bank (still?),a cafeteria, barber, karate lessons, benefits, and pensions. They can even discriminate in hiring if they want, and most don't have to pay into Social Security.

Not to mention Boehner get's his own jet and driver

Then turn around the strip the right of the regular worker to have some voice.

Erik: Yup, they have all these taxpayer-financed perks and luxuries, and then they turn around and tell these same taxpayers to tighten their belts and pull themselves up by their bootstraps. Nice work if you can get it.
