Alberto Gonzales: Obama “May Have Violated His Oath of Office”

Seriously???  The most corrupt unprincipled attorney general EVER, accusing President Obama of violating his oath of office?  Saturday Night Live and the Daily Show couldn’t have dreamed up a skit this hilarious.

Gonzales was referring to Obama’s executive order halting the deportation of some undocumented immigrants.  Let the courts rule on it; not the disgraced Alberto “Torquemada” Gonzales.

When Dumbya’s numerous scandals were being investigated, his slippery attorney general Gonzales kept covering for him.  His main weapon was to have more memory blackouts than anyone in history.  He hid behind the “I cannot recall” copout more often than all of Nixon’s Watergate conspirators put together.

Gonzales might not have violated his own oath of office, since the only oath he ever took was:  “MMMHH!!!  I just love to watch me some spreadeagled Gitmo prisoners!  Yeah!  Crank up those electrodes!  Higher!  Crank ‘em up until he — oops, I just creamed my pants again.”

And now this sleazebucket is lecturing Obama?!?  What’s next, Tony Soprano complaining about the high crime rate?

Some opinions are meant to be ignored. Alberto Gonzales' is certainly one of them.

I asked this before over at JR's house. Can I just go ahead and skip right to Nov, so I don't have to listen to these boils on the butt of humanity anymore, pretty please? I am about sick of trying to be nice to these fuckwits because we are supposed to be better than they are. It is getting harder and harder every damn day with nonsense like this spouting from their lips. In 3.2.1 we will have our own little repiggy apologist coming by to tell us exactly why commander cuckoo bananas had every right to do what he did and PO has got no rights to so anything, other than leave the white house because.. Jesus or freedumz.

I agree with Gonzales, though not in relation to the immigration issue. Coming out with a secretive "kill list" certainly would qualify in my book as a violation of the president's oath of office. Add to this, the drone program's "signature strikes" -- that's where you kill people even when you're not really sure who they are OR what they might/might not be up to -- would qualify as well.

That said, I do agree that Mr. Gonzales is not the best person to be pointing a finger.

I don't credit Gonzales with being creative or competent enough to be proactively corrupt. His failing was that he thought his whole duty and responsibility was to please the guys who hired him. Not that he wasn't questioned and warned about what his role was supposed to be during his confirmation hearing and again several times during his reign of error.

Gonzales' credibility ranks right up their with George W.'s, which is to say he doesn't have any. He could roll in the grass and bark at the moon, and have more impact on the election.

Jerry: People like Gonzales should retire quietly, or go gently into the night, or something.

Jess: We keep being nice to these fuckwits, just to show that we're better than they are, and the fuckwits keep winning elections. Something's gotta change.

Erik: Good question. Those 3 are all beneath contempt.

Trey: I can't disagree about Obama's faults. I'll still vote for him since he's the lesser of two evils. Mostly I was pointing out the irony of somebody as slippery as Gonzales pointing the finger at Obama, or at anybody.

jadedj: Yup, every time you think they can't sink any lower, they do.

OP: That must be why Gonzales has such a keen eye for corruption and violation of oaths.

SW: Gonzales and Dumbya were two of a kind when it comes to credibility and principles.

And you must be white.... we'll just leave it at that, you dumb bimbo.

As far as Electrode Al goes.... he's got a record from Texas to DC of torture, violations of the law, and an absolute antipathy to human decency. Why on Earth would anyone even care what he says?
