Nancy Pelosi Dignifies Rush Limbaugh by Responding to him

Nancy Pelosi and some other House Democrats have lashed back at Rush Limbaugh for his latest shitburst.  This is probably the exact response it wanted.  It’s like that sign at so many blog comment pages:  Don’t feed the trolls.

You couldn’t possibly insult a cesspool like Rush Limbaugh.  You could tell him the most vulgar unprintable things about his mother, and he’d probably bask in it.  “Aww shucks, somebody noticed me.”

Here’s the background:  As you probably know, last week a House committee invited ten elderly men to testify about birth control and other women’s health issues.  House Democrats held a hearing of their own on the same subject, and one of the people who testified was Sandra Fluke, a law student.  She talked about some of the medical uses of birth control pills OTHER THAN contraception — of which there are many (Google it).

Rush Limbaugh responded to her testimony by calling her a “slut” and a “prostitute.”

Limbaugh already has a bunch of gene pool rejects who listen to him and hang on his every word.  As a standup comedian once said (in a different context):  “Ten thousand people, six teeth.”

The last thing Rush Limbaugh deserves is more troll-feeding from House Democrats.

If you want to laugh, scream, kick the computer and hurl all at the same time, check out some of the comments at the end of the “Hill” article (linked above).  I’m surprised some of these neckdrooling inbreds actually figured out how to log on and type a comment.

I have a new policy which respects the fact that I am taking medication...tons of it, for hyper-tension. The new policy, and my wife, prohibit me from reading ASS WIPE, CRETIN GENERATED, GREEN MONKEY TURD, BAT SHIT STUPID, MORANIC (SIC), CHICKEN GUANO Reich wing comments. FUCK 'EM and the fat ass elephant they rode in on.

I'm sure Rush figures he wins either way. He probably thinks he wins if his stupid comments go unchallenged, and he likely thinks he wins if the "liberals" rise to the bait. I don't know what's worse, to respond or to not respond.

I like to think that at some point America will reach a saturation point for his hateful stuff, if it hasn't already. If that's what we hope for, then maybe ignoring him is the best way to go.

I want someone, somewhere, to pay attention to the FACT that he got caught with a pocketful of stolen Viagra, coming back from a place known to wealthy men the world over as a one-stop shop for underage prostitutes-ESPECIALLY MALE underage prostitutes.

This isn't something that somebody made up-The Smoking Gun noted his Puerto Plata vacation. I want to hear HIM explain it.

I'm just wondering if I should be ashamed of myself for being a slut that takes birth control, or I should go ahead and make a free sex tape for him like he suggested today. AYUP, he actually let those words come out of his fat mouth, if women are getting "free" birth control the least we can do is send him the videos of our sex. I suppose if I did one nasty enough, he might get heart palpitations and die so there is a bright spot, right?

As he quite fond of saying he is just an entertainer. Though the Republicans treat him like a major policy maker (remember when Micheal Steele got slammed down for defying Limbaugh?).

If the Democrats start listening then you really legitimize the "Scourge of the liberals" no that the Dittoheads are listening anyway.

Ain't that the truth. But actually the situation is much worse. Limbaugh doing this kind of thing draws an angry reaction from those who aren't among his loyal dittohead dullards. When that happens, his stock with the dullards goes up. Just as bad, his value to Clear Channel goes up, making it ever more unlikely the company will ever fire his fat ass no matter what he says or does.

Perverse situation, isn't it?

I use to feel that responding only gives these asswipes fuel but I'm beginning to change my mind. I believe, no, I'm certain that the great majority of us see the cretins for what they are and they need to be called out on their behavior. I'm convinced that Obama raising the birth control issue at the time he did was because he knew it would require idiots like Ricky Scrotum to have to publicly take a radical stance on the issue and thereby, be discredited to any rational person. It worked. Scrotum lost both Mich and AZ after having sizable poll leads going in.

jadedj: Don't hold back now; tell me how you really feel :)

Snave: Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin have more impact than anyone, just by opening their mouths. Everything they say gets millions of people cheering and swooning, and millions more people fuming and tearing their hair out.

I hope the country will reach a saturation point soon.

JR: I too wish this would get more publicity, and that someone would confront Limbaugh about it and make him explain it.

Jess: Your mission, should you choose to accept it -- give Rush Limbaugh a heart attack.

Erik: Yup, he's got it both ways. He's the Grand Wizard of the Republican Party, and he's also not accountable for anything because he's "just an entertainer."

Jerry: Unfortunately, "free" is a simple one-syllable word that rightwing drones can understand, and they've all been programmed to snap to attention when they hear it.

SW: You're right, Rush is in that win-win situation. The more he pisses off the smarter half of the country, the happier the dullards are and the more his Clear Channel value goes up.

Randal: I wish he'd go back to his first career as a one-man rock band.

Mr. C: I hope you're right, that birth control and other culture war issues will benefit the Democrats. These issues sure have come back to life with a vengeance.
