Wall Street’s Prostitutes Are Very Well Paid

Very VERY well paid.  Forty-five of Wall Street’s most highly-paid call girls (formerly known as Republican senators) staged their 927th filibuster today.  Acting on direct orders from their Wall Street owners, these forty-five prostitutes blocked Richard Cordray — former Attorney General of Ohio — from being appointed to head the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Believe it or not, there were actually two Republicans who DIDN’T march in lockstep: Olympia Snowe — who voted present — and Scott Brown, who actually voted with the Democrats.

And just how highly paid are these Wall Street hookers (hereafter referred to as the Skanky Forty-Five)?

The 45 members of the Skank Brigade have received over $6.5 million from the financial industry during 2011.  Throughout their entire leg-spreading careers, these same whores have received over $125 million.

Who would’ve guessed being a prostitute could be so lucrative.  Sure it’s a humiliating way to make a living.  Do these people talk about their work day when they get home to their families?  Do their kids ask:  “Daddy, who did you spread your legs for today?”  “Daddy, you’re walking so slow, and you’re walking in that funny wide stance again.  What happened?”

These people must have ZERO sense of pride or self-worth.  But the pay is fantastic.

Harry Truman said it best,
"My choice early in life was either to be a piano-player in a whorehouse or a politician. And to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference."

Scott Brown voted with them so it looks like moderation on his part for his upcoming battle with Elizabeth Warren. That was the safest vote for him and was probably cleared by the street beforehans. He has managed to rake in a little over 800 k from the Wall Streeters so he probably had to kiss some ass before voting the way he did. Won't help him in MA though, they love Hahvuhd Prof Warren there.

The being said, yeah even real prostitutes give some obvious pleasure, when you get fucked by them or so I've heard. Never used their services myself.

I'm sorry, Olympia gets no points from me. Acknowledging her presence and then not voting is almost worse than standing with her GOP cohorts. A totally useless gesture in my opinion. If present, vote dammit - one way or the other. That is what she was elected to do. She had to know beforehand, her token gesture was just to gain some feel good look I am more moderate than my recent record would indicate for the folks back home.

I used to like her. I voted for her every time she ran up until her last election. But she has proven that when the tough gets going, she falls in with the party line. Her useless buddy Susan Collins is even worse. I feel like a jilted lover ferchrisakes. Both these women proved the party meant more than my state of Maine. Neither will be thought of kindly by me or receive my vote ever again.

The GOP must not think anyone is paying attention to their temper tantrum antics. Snowe and Collins may be locks in my state for the foreseeable future, but if the last election is any guide, there are cracks beginning to show in the loyal fan base.

Cordray is a good guy. He did good things here as the AG. I didn't figure Mooch and the rest of the RUSPpubliSCUMS would be anxious to see him appointed.

Fannie Mae Prostitutes are paid well too to the tune of 90 million.

See what happens when getting financial advice form Jon(no h)Corzine (D)

It seems it's getting pretty crowded under that bus.
Oh the Irony!

Jesuski W. Christ, you are a blithering idiot.

NEWS FLASH: we think for ourselves. Since we don't have to wait for a fat dope addict to give us our opinions, we get to make judgment calls all by ourselves. Most of us didn't like Corzine a long time ago, and thus, we don't have to defend him, or try to excuse what he did by screaming "THEY DONE IT TOO!!!"

Now, you dumb broad, would you PLEASE go back to the kitchen like Phyllis and Sean said to do?

If the Dems could only stop selling out and become the party of Main Street, they could win. But that takes courage and convictions to back it.

I see Lisa conveniently forgot to mention Freddie Mac prostitute and Mr. "family values" hypocrite Newt.

I'm shocked, shocked, I tell you.

Newt wasn't in the congress at the time Dave.
So if you don't like Corzine, although I am sure you never outwardly admitted it, JR,then you shouldn't like Soros either right? Isn't he also a Wall Street Prostitute?
I won't hold my breath waiting for your reply, but please do feel free to hold yours.

Republicans are just sore because those mean old Democrats wouldn't let them gut the agency Cordray is supposed head. They made clear months ago that would be the price for approving his appointment, or anyone's.

And, apparently, there's a bunch of things the agency can't start doing until a director of it is appointed.

This is how Republicans serve the public interest.
