Wisconsin Republicans Can Run But They Can’t Hide

Wisconsin’s cowering Republican legislators are slinking away to attend a fundraiser in Washington, D.C. They can run but they can’t hide. When the Koch Brothers’ ball-washers arrive in D.C. they’ll be met with a huge protest.

The demonstration is being organized by People For The American Way, MoveOn.org and Common Cause among others.

The Republican fundraiser is being put on by BGR Group, which has a longtime affiliation with the Wisconsin GOP.

The fleeing Republicans actually have two reasons to go to this fundraiser. First of course is getting out of Dodge so they can escape the wrath of Wisconsin’s middle class residents (i.e. the taxpayers whose taxes are paying these assholes’ salaries).

And, well, prostitutes have to get paid. And these Wisconsin Republican prostitutes have performed big time. After a month of nonstop humping and gyrating for their corporate johns, these skanky prostitutes will receive a hefty payment for their “work.”

Or as the protest organizers put on their Facebook page:

“Last week, Wisconsin Republicans stripped middle class workers of their rights. This week, those same lawmakers are receiving their payoff by corporate lobbyists and donors.”

Good for People for the American Way, Common Cause, and Move On.org! I hope these anti-democracy Republicans will get an earful they'll NEVER forget! And I hope each and every one of them will feel their constituents' full fury in the recall election, which will teach them a thing or two about arrogance and democracy!!!

Payoff is the right term for it. That these errand boys for big-money interests had to go to D.C. to raise funds tells me something: They know they can't raise enough in Wisconsin because the people back home have got their number.

Jack: I sure hope some of them get recalled. Voters are pissed, and this time the Koch brothers won't be able to rescue them.

Erik: If it is, I'm for George.

SW: Good point, that the errand boys had to go to D.C. for their fundraising/payoff. I hope their constituents have their number and will vote accordingly when the recall election is held.

Anonymous: Works for me.
