Teabaggers Suddenly Worried About Correct Spelling?!? WTF???

The irony meter is going berserk.

The same knuckle-dragging inbreds who brought us the Pubic Option, “Make English Americas Offical Language” and Morans are now suddenly concerned about proper spelling?!?!?!

Hell has frozen over! And a pig just flew past my window.

Lisa Murkowski’s write-in campaign might keep Joe Miller, Alaska’s favorite teabirther, out of the Senate. Miller has filed a lawsuit. (I thought conservatives were always complaining about “too much litigation”). He wants to be absolutely certain that everyone who voted for Lisa Murkowski spelled her name right. If not, their votes should be thrown out.

Since when is spelling — or any other mental faculty — important to a Republican? Irony Alert: If voters were required to demonstrate any basic level of intelligence or comprehension in order to vote — no Republican candidate would ever get elected.

In a related story: American students’ math skills rank 31st in the world. Most industrialized countries are ahead of us.

This is excellent news for conservatives, no? After all, when people can’t put two and two together — they vote Republican.

I did say, if you'll remember, that the requirements of spelling Lisa's name was probably going to doom her :)

It is remarkable that the Klanbaggers blew one in Alaska, though.

I read somewhere else today that Miller was trying to get the votes that were mistakes added to his total vote count also. I cannot remember where that was but I thought, yeah good luck with that you idiot. Seems to me these people just do not like losing at all do they?

Here's hoping it's Miller time in hell frozen over before it is in Alaska. Not that I'm biased, or anything. :)

What a piece of work Miller is. "Murkowski" is fairly phonetic to begin with. Any judge who throws a vote out because it's spelled, say, "Murckowsky" or "Mercouskie" isn't acting on common sense, much less law. It would have to be purely on political preference.

That's pretty fucking sad. Knuckle-dragging aside, why would anyone sell out their self-respect and look so pathetically desperate and do something like that?

Idiot.

A Republican trying to steal another election? I'm just shocked.

JR: If the situation was reversed, there'd be a lot of write-in votes for Jo Milllur and Jow Milr.

Jess: There's nothing that's too low or sleazy for the wingtards to stoop to.

SW: The fact that Joe Miller makes Lisa Murkowski look good -- how sad is that.

Carlos: Some of those people don't even have any self-respect to sell.

Libhom: And it's a Republican versus a teabagger. Conservatives eat their young.

I shouldn't laugh about this but can't help myself. Wow that Miller character is more and more like sweet Sarah everyday. Next it will be second amendment rights being displayed as in bang. Oh boy we're in for it with these loons...

Tim: I think it's funny too. When things get too wacky, all you can do is laugh while you're rolling your eyes.

Let's see...Lisa Murk-whatshername and Joe Miller...yes, i see how those could be misspelled and be so easily confused. Because, you see, there's only one letter separating the J from the L, and the M is common in both names, so yes, if someone spells it Lisa Murkowitz, then they were really trying to spell Joe Miller!!!

And they think they have the handle on the f'ed up logic.

Bee: Cool, I think you've clearly explained it. I think I finally understand teabagger logic. And now my head hurts.
