John Boehner: “The American People Demand an End to All Abortions”

Everything John Boehner says or does is “a mandate” from “The American People.” It probably won’t be any different with his newest fling — Randall Terry, America’s favorite fetus-worshipper and the founder of Operation Rescue.

Randall Terry is now part of Boehner’s Inner Circle, along with banking and insurance lobbyists. So much for that “limited government” that conservatives are always blubbering about.

When Randall Terry met with Boehner and his staff, he demanded that the GOP:

“…hasten the end of legalized child killing in America. Unless the Republicans do something concrete to save babies from murder, then they are collaborators with child killers, and we must treat them as such. We have Pro-Life DEMANDS for Mr. Boehner and the House GOP. We Must Play Hard Ball: They Must Fear Pro-Lifers!”

Or what??? Uh oh, maybe the “Ban All Abortion!” wackjobs will form a third party.

I think this is another manifestation of the tea partyers' gripes about Republicans not delivering when the GOP had total control in D.C. Government wasn't downsized dramatically. Abortion and porn weren't outlawed. Liberals and other un-American types weren't rounded up and deported to some European socialist hell hole like France or Italy.

So, now that Republicans have gained control of the House, various constituencies on the right are coming forward with their demands and warnings. Terry's extremists are just the latest.

Little do these constituencies realize that since Republicans have succeeded for decades by dangling the carrot, not feeding it to the horse, they're not inclined to let the carrot go now — or ever. It's about the journey, not the destination. ;)

As for a third party, not likely. But I would love to see them try.

I am about sick of calling his office to tell him, leave this American person off his list of what American people want or need. I don't think twice a week calls are hitting it, so I guess I will have to up the call volume.

They unleashed this monster onto the public with the whole, we are all about taxes and blah blabbity blah, now they will reap what they have sown. It was just a matter of time, before the anti everything groups would be part of the pubbies.

Now I must go get impregnated by a gay man so I can have my mandatory abortion. You know, in case I have "teh ghey" babies and all.

Ah, sweet freedom! Ah, limited government! Ah, no excessive focus on "social issues"! Yes, the clean, fresh new air of the Republicans truly is awe inspiring!

It's also a crock of shit - but still...I don't see the Democrats offering a crock of shit! No sir! At least the Republicans stand for something. Well, anything that will get them elected, anyway. But still...Once they perfect their Wayback Machine, and we all get transported back to some mythical 1950's Utopia - free of abortions! free of negroes holding elective office! and who had even heard of Islam? - boy, the living will be great then!

White gloves for the ladies, and flat-tops for the gentlemen - we're coming HOME!

You libruls should be ashamed of yourselves dogging the man like this***. I know you won't be though.

***Please don't make me do the disclaimer.

I don't even think it was the good old days when it was the good old days does anyone else think so? Shh, this is from one of those "ghey" sites I visit, to stay current on GLBT issues. http://joemygod.blogspot.com/2010/11/quote-of-day-judson-phillips.html

I'd rather have an ordinary common criminal like that fine republican, the recently convicted felon Tom Delay in that position than that orange tainted dick from Ohio.

Randy will make some noise, but it's like SW, once they lose that carrot, they lose the votes, and then maybe with all those extra babies around, someone might notice how they're starving and homeless and......

"Junket John" Boehner won't even remember that conversation when he sobers up. Or even if he doesn't sober up, which is the more likely outcome.

SW: The same thing keeps happening to the religious right. They keep bringing the Republican Party to the dance, and after they've arrived, the Republicans ditch the wingnuts and start dancing with someone else.

I'd love to see them form their own party, but they probably won't.

Randal: Asbestos only harms the already-born; fetuses are safe.

Jess: Make sure it's a gay minority disabled man who impregnates you.

SHS: Ah yes, the Wayback Machine gonna take us Home again. Can't wait.

Erik: Yup, same babble.

Jess: Only homeowners being allowed to vote -- I wouldn't doubt it. And your income will need to be above a certain level too.

Thanks for the link.

Anonymous: That's a pretty grim choice to be stuck with, but I too would rather have DeLay than Weepy the Orange.

Lew: Babies who are starving and homeless? They don't count; they're already born.

JR: My money is on un-sober.
