President Bush: “Taiwan is Part of China!”

George W. Bush interrupted his vacation in Crawford for a photo op in Orlando, FL at the Veterans of Foreign Wars convention. He told them: “The breakaway province of Taiwan is part of China! The United States of America will continue to support Mainland China.”

Oh wait — Georgia, not China. Doh! OK, let’s see now…the Chinese had better keep their grubby mitts off their breakaway region of Taiwan, or else! And the United States will help the Georgian government do whatever they need to do — whatever it takes! — to strangle South Ossetia and Abkhazia into submission. Fuck ‘em where they breathe! OK, I get it now.

Pat Buchanan brings up a scary thought. Yes, that Pat Buchanan, the racist xenophobe who wants to turn the clock back to the 1800s. When he's right, he's right. A broken clock is still right twice a day.

If Georgia had already been a member of NATO — as the Bush Administration was pushing for — when this civil war started, guess where the United States would be fighting right now, as we speak. Georgia’s NATO membership would have forced us to send American soldiers to Georgia, so they could fight against Russian soldiers.

Oh boy, war with Russia!!! No, that’s not an earthquake you feel. It's the simultaneous orgasm of every rightwing mouthbreathing chickenhawk in the country.

Pat Buchanan says:

“If the Russia-Georgia war proves nothing else, it is the insanity of giving erratic hotheads in volatile nations the power to drag the United States into war… had George W. Bush prevailed and were Georgia in NATO, U.S. Marines could be fighting Russian troops over whose flag should fly over a province of 70,000 South Ossetians who prefer Russians to Georgians.”

Somebody, somewhere please put the brakes on that psycho in the White House.

Prague Twin: That's scary all right. But I think McCain has done so much flipflopping and morphing, I don't think he really stands for anything. If Congress is heavily Democratic (which everyone is predicting), I think McCain will just try to keep up appearances and not get defeated by Congress every time he tries something.

That's my hope anyway.

Randal: This is just twisted, us trying to arm and protect all these former Russian allies. Imagine our reaction if Russia tried to get Canada and Mexico to join the Warsaw Pact. And how sad is it that Reagan and Bush 41 actually look good in comparison to that abortion we've got in the White House now.

I think the only hope at freedom at this point is to have ass take sides with Russia when they do invade the States, and at the rate Bush is going it won't be just Russia, but Russia, Iran, Venezuela, CA-4, CHINA, and a slew of others. The Middle East is actually greatful that Russia did what it did to stop the Genocide. Most of the Middle East feels that the action put Israel, and The US in check!
The thought of War with Iran, Russia, or anyone else at this point is stupid. Russia is a hardened country with hardened well trained soldiers. We are seeing a back peddling right now of the Ole' Cabal. They were set to distract Russia, and bogg them down; while starting war with Iran. Russia kicked USAmerican, and Israeli ass in such a fast manner; I don't know when The Bush Administration, and The Israeli Government will quit seeing stars!
One thing is for sure; that is neither the forementioned governments care about their respective people's!

On a side note, How pissed is China that the US, and Israeli's ruined there Auspicious start to the Olympics; by starting a proxy war? Time will tell.

Tom, your post got me thinking and I posted about this topic at my place.

In my usual questioning of the administration's motives (and I always assume the worst with this bunch), I think a good deal of this bluster and posturing about Russia and NATO is an election-year ploy to once again get the public afraid enough to vote Republican. I think the people in the White House are crazy enough to do just about anything to preserve their power.

Sadly, the Dems have allowed the GOP to convince the voters that it is the Republicans, not the Democrats, who are best on defense and who'll keep us all safe. With the "War on Terror" and Bush administration "enemies" like Iraq, Iran, and North Korea not gaining as much traction with the voters this election year, many Americans are getting more attentive to our poor economy --- something which can be blamed in large part on the Republicans. They need to distract us from that and give the voters something they can really be afraid of... Russia.

We are going to hear a lot more about Russia from the Republicans during the next couple of months.

We will also see gay marriage and abortion resurrected as campaign issues. I feel certain that is why Rick Warren had his big to-do at Saddleback Civil Forum with McCain and Obama the other day. The GOP is desperate to get the evangelicals to the polls, thus Warren's blatant attempt to help the party get these "issues" stressed in the "media".

Besides fear and religious hot-button issues, they have little else over which American voters can get excited... but if they can get those things to the forefront of enough voters' minds we could be in for four more very long years.

Snave: Yup, paranoia over Russia, that'll be the jackpot for Republicans. Gay marriage and Islamofascists were just substitutes for that evil Red Menace. Now that we've got the Real Thing again, the wingtards might not even need to bother with turrists and the homosexual agenda any more.

And the wackiest thing I've seen in a long time was today's news: a majority of voters trust McCain and the Republican Party more than Democrats on the economy. WTF??? Tax cuts, outsourcing, Iraqmire, corporations offshoring trillions of dollars that they aren't paying taxes on -- and the public wants more of this same shit? This nation is getting dumber, that's all there is to it.

AHB: You're right, more and more countries are pissed at the U.S. Who knows, maybe we'll greet them as liberators and shower them with cake and ice cream when they invade. I think most of the world is ready for Israel and the U.S. to get a comeuppance.

I think you're right about Russia too. With the little I know about Russian people, it seems that the average Russian citizen has a hardness and toughness that's non-existent in Western countries. I don't think we'd be smart to tangle with them no matter how superior our weapons are.

I'm sure the Chinese are pissed that we stole their thunder by starting a proxy war when nobody was looking. And we don't want our landlords pissed at us.

I just looked at my comment; I think with the few grammer errors, I'll take longer next time....I meant half ass.

Weapon superiority??? Russia, China, and Iran have some very big bad Weapons. They have the technology to wipe the US off the map: politically, Geographically, Socially, and Extermination.

Like the US***, Iran has one of the most advanced BioWar machines in the World. They also have the Russian Sun Burst Missles. These "sunburst" missiles are unstoppable by current US Navy defense systems.

China, and Russia have both "Mysteriously" popped up via submarines, and fighter aircraft, directly over US Carriers during War games.

Taking into account 150,000,000+ hardened/seasoned/trained in war Russians, and over a billion Chinese is a chunk.

The two countries above due have war pact agreements with Iran, Armenia, Greece, Venezuela, and most NAM countries.

I would definitely say for survival for the average American to offer Cake, Tea, and Greetings would be smarter than fighting them. Bush, and the other "groupies" that can't see past the line of zero's in their bank's-bank accounts won't even stick around!

AHB: Well, that's grim news, isn't it. Or maybe not. If those countries have modern weapons, that might be more of a deterrent to the U.S. starting wars with any of them. All of our elective wars (i.e. everything after WWII) have been against smaller countries that seemed like an easy victory.

Bullies don't usually pick fights unless they're almost certain their target can't or won't fight back. Maybe the spectre of Russia and China is the only way to keep American aggression in check. Our rubberstamp congress and oblivious public sure haven't done it.

It's really creepy to be agreeing with Pat Buchanan. But he's starting to make sense lately. I heard him on the radio one day talking about Bush and he was spot on.

I agree that this may be just what the GOP is looking for to spark a pro-McCain surge.

DivaJood: Buchanan seems to have 2 things going for him. He's a populist, even if it's from a racist/rightwing standpoint. And he's against foreign intervention unless our security is actually in jeopardy. It's too bad we have to look to a redneck for wisdom, but with so many loonies running the government, we need every intelligent opinion we can find.

The good news is that Bush has only 150 days left. Then again, the bad, disgusting, even kind of frightening news is that Bush has 150 days left.

And while Bush continues his half-wit lunacy, past the point of generating outrage any more, Capt. Queeg 2.0 is working on getting his turn.

What is it that takes hold every four years? It's as though millions of Americans go into some sort of stupor that makes them OK with actually re-electing George W. Bush, trusting Republicans more about the economy, and now, in increasing numbers, willing to vote for McCain.

I think I understand the near complete media failure to vet and honestly, fully and accurately report on McCain.

But even in spite of that, among the public there must be something beyond politics going on.

Even if you erased every negative thing in McCain's record prior to Jan. 1, 2008, and just counted what he's said and done this year, there's enough there destroy his chances with anyone who has the mentality of a mollusk.

As for Buchanan, agreed we're at a pretty pass when he registers as the voice of reason and enlightenment. But good sense is where you find it, so I'll give him credit.

Now, if he would just stop pushing his invisible shoebox around in front of the camera every time he's on TV.

Jo: War with Russia would be the end for both countries. Not literally of course; I don't mean everybody dies. But both countries are a house of cards that would totally collapse. Putin and Medvedev (sp?) are probably smart enough to realize that, but is BushCheney?

Maybe Pat Buchanan could knock some sense into them.

SW: I don't know what it is with this stupor that affects Americans every four years. And it's getting worse.

Sometime in the early '90s I heard this monologue by Dennis Miller on HBO. He was referring to that retarded New York senator (he's no longer in office), Al D'Amato: "What the fuck, did the entire state of New York get drunk on election day?"

Now we have to wonder about the entire country every time there's an election. And how far we've deteriorated when Pat Buchanan is the voice of sanity.

1.0 WHY FREE TRADE IS DISMANTLING AMERICA . . .
Proponents for NAFTA and the WTO have claimed that our intellectual skills and our managerial know-how can lead the United States into endless prosperity . . . and that manufacturing and routine hands-on labor is not needed anymore by the United States and it will only keep our nation suppressed.

By the end of the 20th century, many U.S. politicians joined the ranks of the special interest groups, by declaring that the United States would be a safer place and financially better off, if we would only lower our protectionist policies and allow other nations to share in its wealth. So with the stroke of a pen, President Clinton signed the NAFTA and WTO free trade agreements of which ordered the United States to DISPOSE of AMERICA’S PROTECTIVE TARIFFS and QUOTAS on imported products, while opening the American market to other member nations. This agreement also ordered the United States to LIFT ANY RESTRICTIONS that blocked foreign investors from buying up and controlling American assets. These two actions not only undermined American manufacturers, it undermined the US Constitution, the American people and the security of our nation.

In defense of this outrageous move, the advocates for a global market have claimed that it was for ethical reasons why America needed to adopt the NAFTA and WTO agreements, arguing the point, that it is racist and wrong for Americans to hoard the world’s wealth and to enjoy the fruits of life, while people in third world nations remain poor and starving . . .

Tariffs were put in place in order to PRODUCE INCOME for the United States government, and they did it at the expense of foreign manufacturers who wanted to compete for work in the enormous American market.

Under the FORMER FAIR TRADE agreements, our government used the money that was collected from tariffs to pay for a variety of things like building and maintaining our roads and bridges. It also helped to pay for our welfare programs, our military, foreign aid, new business grants and it backed our banks with money. But tariffs did another thing, it would artificially raise the price of imports so America’s manufacturing could not be undermined by foreign competition within our own U.S. Market. Tarriffs protected America’s manufacturers, of which protected the jobs that produced another source of income for the government . . . income tax.

But keeping our nation self-sustaining came with a hefty price tag, because in order to keep our country strong and growing, it would cost our government hundreds of billions of dollars per year, just to maintain, protect and reinvest into this giant economic infrastructure. Tariffs created the revenue that America needed to cover these costs, while providing the money to fund new technology, that was able to stimulate new business growth and create opportunities for all at the same time.

Third world nations do not have Social Security, nor do they have welfare programs. Most countries do not have a strong military, or an infrastructure of good roads to transport their goods, and that is part of the reason why foreign products are so cheap. Another reason is because, foreign governments allow corporations to limit worker earnings to only a fraction of the American worker.

In China, Mexico and India, workers there earn in a year, what American workers earn in a week. Imagine buying a house and food for your family or buying a car to get to work on 1/50th of your weekly paycheck. But according to our government, our future is dependent on the billions of people who work in these foreign countries and buy American products . . . but if they can’t afford to buy a Chinese made bicycle, then what products could they possibly afford from America? Every day billions of dollars are leaving our country to buy foreign products, but if the foreign workers aren’t earning a fair income, then America will never get its piece of the pie through the current one-way trade deals. So where is all that money going?

Foreign governments collect millions of dollars per day in taxes from the same manufacturers who employ their people. The taxes that they collect are not being used to build up their own infrastructure as originally planned, but rather, they are investing that money into America, buying up our real estate, US Treasury bills, stocks, bonds, businesses, patents and more!

Formerly under the GATT FAIR TRADE agreement, America had certain policies written into the trade pacts that protected America’s assets from being taken-over by foreign investment. But according to the NAFTA and WTO agreements, it states that our nation had to RID ITSELF of these PROTECTIONIST POLICIES, so foreign companies and investors could freely buy up America’s infrastructure- including our roads, bridges, businesses, technology and more. Since 1995, over half of America’s assets have been sold off to foreigners and we are quickly running out of assets with any significant value. Now without tariffs to collect, or manufacturers to provide the higher paying jobs that produced income tax for the government, we are facing an economic collapse that will make the great depression look like a walk in the park!

While the United States goes deeper in debt, our government refuses to acknowledge that there is a problem and conducts business as usual. But in 15 years, they managed to almost bankrupt our country by redistributing our machinery and wealth all around the world. In this short period of time, the United States changed from the world’s largest creditor to the world’s largest debtor. In 15 years the United States changed from independent self-sustaining nation to a consumer nation with almost no income to pay for the products that we presently buy from overseas. Special interest groups and crooked politicians managed to change the United States into a third world nation, but unlike other third world nations . . . all of America’s properties are being sold off in pieces like a junk car, so it can never be resurrected again.

How did we end up here? According to many of the proponents for a New World Order, their isn’t room for any super-power at all. With the financial collapse of the former Soviet Union, the timing was perfect for dismantling America too, not by taking apart our strong military, but by taking apart the very thing that can create and build an economy and the equipment that the military needs . . . and that was our manufacturing. You cannot retain the super-power status, unless you have both an endless supply of money and the manufacturing capabilities to support a military. Today, America has neither.

What the New World Order proponents didn’t count on, was first, the re-emergence of another Russian dictator named Putin, who is hellbent on re-establishing a new Soviet Union with a super-power status, and second, no one expected President Clinton to help communist China join the WTO pact who is also after the same power. If you are ready to put the blame on Bill Clinton, you are not alone. Although this was originally initiated by a group of conservative elitists who have a right wing-liberal economic view of the world. George H. W. Bush opposed the former FAIR TRADE policies that we once had, and became a proponent for the new FREE TRADE policies that was against collecting tariffs and setting quotas. George H. W. Bush started the ball rolling when he supported the first trade agreement between the United States and Canada in 1987.

Bill Clinton is a Democrat, although he is a Progressive Democrat that shares the same right wing-liberal economic views as George H. W. Bush. Other notables in favor of free trade include George W. Bush, Barrack Obama, John McCain and Nancy Pelosi. To compound the problem, there are now enough Republicans and enough Progressive Democrats standing behind the bi-partisan free trade agenda to carry the majority vote in Congress and the Senate.

2.0 CORRUPTED GOVERNMENT . . .
It is thought by many, that our government over-stepped its legal boundaries, first by signing agreements that gave America’s corporations at the top of the food chain, permission to buy directly from third world nations with NO PROTECTIVE TARIFFS attached to the products that they imported. Second, by expecting America’s manufacturers to compete on an un-even play field. This cost the United States more than just losing its tight grip on its manufacturing . . . it cost America the economy that manufacturing produced, the income that tariffs produced and the millions of higher paying skilled jobs that produced the income tax that the government needed for health care, Social Security and investment in new technology and the like.

The NAFTA and WTO pact guidelines did not end there. Under the terms of free trade agreements, the United States had to change other laws to meet the WTO rules. One of the rules included lowering its health and safety standards on imported goods, so our regulations would not interfere with world commerce. This also meant that the United States could no longer prevent tainted or dangerous products from entering the country, without facing severe trade sanctions as a result.

The free trade agreements that promised to improve our lives, were found to be nothing more than a Pandora’s Box that has ambushed the U.S. Constitution and is now gnawing away at the fragile foundations that kept it strong. The change that was said to be for the good of the American people, only proved to help BACKWARD NATIONS become INDUSTRIOUS at the high cost of losing our own manufacturing might. This caused millions of middle class American’s to lose their personal wealth and securities like businesses, jobs and homes, but according to many of our elected officials, our country is a safer place and we are better off today then we were just 15 years ago. The real question is this, are we? Let’s look at the evidence.

3.0 CHANGES IN CHINA . . .
In 1994, the Chinese government devalued their currency by 45% against the U.S. dollar. This action CUT the price of their exported goods to the world, while INCREASING the price of imported goods to the Chinese people. In 2000, President Clinton created new problems by using his influence to help China become a WTO member and too begin taking advantage of our new NO TARIFF POLICIES that we had adopted in the United States. Between the devalued Chinese currency, accompanied with the WTO’s rules of NO PROTECTIVE TARIFFS, completely turned America’s trade with China upside down.

Today, China boasts that they have nearly 2 trillion dollars in reserves and are presently designing a second super-sized city that will be focused on meeting the future manufacturing needs of the world. It is reported that they are now building naval ships at an unprecedented rate and are narrowing America’s lead in aerospace. China has been drilling off the American coast to keep up with their future demand for more oil, and in the medical field, China is profiting by executing imprisoned people in order to harvest their organs and transplant them into the bodies of the rich Westerners.

China has been funding America so we can cover expenses on a variety of things, including the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, 2008 Economic Stimulus Package, the bank bail out, Social Security, investments in new technology and more.

4.0 CHANGES IN AMERICA . . .
Meanwhile, in the United States, America wallows in a 10 trillion dollar debt that is rising at a rate of 2 billion dollars per day. Home values are plummeting, stock values are reaching record lows, fuel prices are through the roof, health care costs are out of sight, 8.5 million Americans are out of work, food prices are on the rise and imported toys and food are arriving at our ports tainted with bacteria and poisons. We are supporting 12,000,000 illegal aliens, our border fences are left unfinished, our bridges are failing, Social Security continues to move toward bankruptcy and our banks are being shut down by the government. We are hearing that foreigners from all around the world are making huge investments in America-- buying everything from vacant land to businesses and seizing control of “not only” their property, but any new technology they may own. In schools, courses like engineering, drafting and machine shop are becoming a thing of the past and are being dropped from the curriculum.

5.0 THE NATIONS SECURITY . . .
It is rumored that China is selling long range missile components to Iran, who is a sworn enemy of the United States, Israel and other Western nations. It is widely known that Russia is selling submarines to China, and earlier this year, a Chinese submarine stalked an American aircraft carrier while Russia flew several bombers inside the American borders. An American naval warship was also threatened by a Russian bomber that intentionally flew into the ships airspace (only a few hundred feet away).

China infiltrated our military’s computer network and it is thought that they may have obtained information on our latest technology and other top secret information. In the Arctic Circle, Russia staked its claim to the oil rich international seabed, declaring that the 460,000 square mile area belongs to them. It is thought that China and Russia are deliberately escalating tensions in the middle east by supplying weapons to Iran-- who of which is supplying weapons to Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups . . . The United States responds by announcing that they will stay in the fight against terrorism.

Many American economists say it is healthy for the United States to go deeper in debt and continue borrowing money from China, even though the Chinese government recently stated that their intention is to dismantle America and its military, not through war, but by seizing control of America’s money and wealth. It was reported that China recently threatened the United States . . . saying that they would sell off their huge stash of US Treasuries, in order to make the dollar crash, if Washington tries to change it’s position on the free trade policies.

6.0 WHAT’S NEW IN THE STATES . . .
Our 50 states are also in serious trouble and are now seeking help from foreign investors too. Some problems that the state governments face, involve money shortages . . . while other problems are because the United States has lost the companies they needed for rebuilding, expanding or maintaining their infrastructure.

One state in particular is involved in a “shared wealth program” with foreign investors, in order to finance and build- income producing toll roads, superhighways and transit systems, called the Trans-Texas Corridor. The government in Indiana could not balance their budget, so the governor leased away a toll road to foreign investors, even though it was originally paid for by the American taxpayers.

Other states across the country have adopted a 12% state sales tax and are deliberately overtaxing specific products, just to make ends meet. Over 50% of the states have started experiencing serious financial problems ever since the NAFTA and WTO trade agreements were signed. In towns and cities across the US, the loss of the local economy that was originally stimulated by local manufacturing, is creating a negative impact on other trade sectors as well, such as the independent retail stores and the independent restaurant trade.

In light of all this, the Speaker of the House- Nancy Pelosi, announced on July 11, 2008 that our Congress will only be in session for 35 days between now and election day . . . (At the time of this writing, Congress is on a 5 week vacation and there are no sessions currently scheduled between Election day and New Years Day, 2009). Bit by bit, we are losing our country and the government is closed for business!

7.0 WARNINGS CAME, PEOPLE LAUGHED . . .
While campaigning for President, Congressman, Duncan Hunter, Congressman Ron Paul and Governor Mitt Romney have all brought attention to the lack of national security, unfair trade and the lack of manufacturing jobs, but they all failed to reach the public with this important message and were quickly dismissed by the voters. CNN’s own Lou Dobbs, Journalist Pat Buchanan, Glenn Beck from the Headline News and others speak out about this subject every weeknight, but like the candidates, their message is not being heard.

In politics, both the Republican and Democratic candidates are promising to cut taxes while providing the funding for new high-tech, energy-efficient GREEN jobs at the same time. These candidates are also promising health care for every individual and so on, but neither candidate mentions the fact that the government still does not have the money, and will need to borrow the funds in order to follow through with their empty promises. Up to this point, neither McCain or Obama has brought up how they intend to fix our social security for next generation, nor have they ever mentioned anything regarding the unfair trade policies. Another thing they avoid to communicate is whether or not they are for or against free trade.

8.0 THE TREE OF LIFE . . .
Pat Buchanan wrote in his book titled the Day of Reckoning, that Frederick List, a German antagonist declared that, “production (manufacturing) is the tree where wealth grows-- and that owning the tree is more important than eating the fruit.” Buchanan implies in his book that the U.S. of which used to be a self-sustaining nation, has recently become a consumer nation that only eats the fruit. The tree (manufacturing) that provided the fruit was given to Mexico and China.

It should be clearly understood that foreign trade is not the enemy. On the contrary, even the founders of the United States encouraged foreign trade as long as TARIFFS and QUOTAS could be attached to imports, in order to protect our manufacturing infrastructure and the nations security. However, according to the WTO, the United States government is not allowed to amend this agreement. Instead, if we intend to stay connected to the NAFTA and WTO pacts, we must change OUR LAWS to conform to the WTO rules.


9.0 WHAT DID THE AMERICAN PEOPLE REALLY KNOW?
I would be curious to find out how our elected politicians would answer the following questions under the media spotlight or in the court of law.


In the 1990’s, was it really the WILL of the American people to accept FREE TRADE over FAIR TRADE?

Would you say that the government fully disclosed all of the differences, pitfalls and ramifications of free trade vs the former GATT fair trade policies, such as the risks involved and the sacrifices the people would have to make, once the United States adopted the free trade plan?

Do you think that the American people were fully aware that the term “free trade” and the names NAFTA and WTO are in concept, indistinguishable in nature, and that all 3 representations basically mean the same thing . . . and if a politician states that they are for free trade- they also mean that they are a proponent for the concepts used in the NAFTA and/or the WTO pacts?

Do you think that the American people were fully aware that there is only “one single model” of the free trade policy that can be adopted, and that there were no other choices to pick from?

Did the American people understand that our United States government did not write the free trade agreement, or had any influence or jurisdiction over the content written within the pages itself?

Do you think the American people were fully aware that the writers of the NAFTA and WTO were a mix of people from around the world, who were chosen to represent only the interests of corporations and not that of governments, laws or its people?

Did the American people know that the representatives of the NAFTA and the WTO are not elected officials, and that the risk is there for corporations or social groups to influence or even buy off the designers of the documents?

Did the government fully disclose, the TRUE NATURE of free trade, and how it will actually work against the United States if things go wrong?

Were the American people fully aware and willing to sacrifice the power of our United States Constitution and commit our nation and people to answer up to a “higher authority” under the names of NAFTA and WTO?

Were the people aware that the NAFTA and WTO agreements are set up to change the United States from an independent nation into a dependent nation?

With regards to improving our foreign relations, do you really think that the American people were fully aware and willing to de-industrialise America, and, entrust our manufacturing might to all other partner nations, that by the year 2000, would also include the Peoples Republic of China, a communist nation?

Do you think the American people were fully aware and willing to comply with the WTO’s rules that stated that America must REVERSE ITS PROTECTION LAWS, so foreign investors could openly access and buy America’s infrastructure . . . including roads, bridges, dams, mass transit systems, land, banks and American enterprises?

Do you think that the American people were fully aware and willing to accept the WTO’s rules that called for lower health and safety standards on imported goods, so the US regulations would not interfere with the free trade agreements or stop tainted products from entering the United States?

Can you answer this question . . . if, the NAFTA and WTO agreements were originally placed on separate ballots in the 1990’s . . . do you think that the American people would have voted FOR or AGAINST joining the pacts?

Can you prove to me that the American people were not deceived . . . and that they were fully aware that the combined majority of BOTH the Democratic and Republican parties were IN FAVOR OF the same free trade policies . . . and that, no matter who was elected, our government would still magically move toward joining the NAFTA and the WTO pacts as a result, using the WILL OF THE PEOPLE as the reason, when in reality the people never had that choice?


10.0 DID OUTSIDERS CORRUPT OUR SYSTEM?
The United States joined NAFTA and the WTO for all the wrong reasons. Whether the people truly wanted free trade or not, it appears that the “special interests groups” used trickery to get what they wanted, by simply encouraging enough members in both major parties to stand behind their agenda. This not only corrupted the parties and their position(s), it also CORRUPTED the VOTING PROCESS and the government didn’t bring it out in the open or do anything to stop it from happening. Now that a precedent has been set, what stops other world organizations from doing the same things in the future?

Let us remind the government that the United States still belongs to the American people. It does not belong to the “special interest groups” like many politicians believe . . . and we the people have the right to un-elect the elected and change the course of the nation at any time if our government has deemed itself unworthy. At no time in history, did the American people ever stand behind the notion that our government is allowed to make its people answer to anything beyond the United States Constitution, our courts or the creator Himself.

Without permission, our government has already attached our people and the United States to contracts that were in my opinion, obtained illegally. Are we supposed to just stand here, while the government continues to abuse our rights and allow our nation to be the first country to melt away into the new world order or system?

The Declaration of Independence outlines what a corrupt government looks like, and the steps the people need to take when our government abuses their power. In this case, our government relinquished its powers in order to usher in “new authorities” . . . ones that interfere with our nations normal progress, that sacrifices our nations holdings, as well as the rights and the security of its people.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

The time has come, and we cannot continue standing around watching the United States be consumed by mounting debts, watching foreign policies sacrifice our neighbors jobs, their freedoms, rights and their personal property. We cannot stand by watching our country be gutted of its manufacturing infrastructure and its national security, while putting up with hostile threats against our nation and our military by the same foreign governments that are robbing us blind. Globalization may be good for third world countries, but it is not good for you and it’s not good for the United States of America.

11.0 STEPS TO INVESTIGATE AND REFORM OUR GOVERNMENT . . .
This may sound like an oxymoron, but I am requesting a full investigation into this matter by the government themself, as long as there is full MEDIA ATTENTION to keep the government accountable.

I expect answers and I expect the government to unveil the whole truth about how the American people were deceived and shafted. I am requesting a full disclosure of who the proponents are- and how deeply they were involved in passing these policies. I am requesting a full disclosure of all the damages done to our nations security, infrastructure and anything else in and beyond the scope of this petition that could be related.

I am requesting that new “protection laws” be enacted that would keep problems like this from ever happening again. I am requesting that the government begins to look for sensible ways to either FORCE PROTECTIONIST CHANGES back into the free trade policies, or figure ways to break out of the agreement without further damaging the country in the process.

For the sake of all Americans, their children and their children’s children, I am requesting that appropriate actions be taken to the fullest extent of the law, against any elected or appointed official(s) who are found to be guilty of collaborating with special interest groups, misleading the public, interfering with the voting process and/or conspired against the will of our people, the private manufacturing enterprises, the US Constitution and the United States of America.
