Libby/Cheney/Plamegate

With everybody weighing in on the Libby verdict and what it means, let’s hear what a former CIA Director has to say:

“I have nothing but contempt and anger for those who betray the trust by exposing the name of our sources. They are, in my view, the most insidious of traitors.”

Those words were spoken by George Herbert Walker Bush on April 26, 1999. Well, George Dumbya, now you know what your father thinks of you. Traitor!

Lizzy: Absolutely. He's a traitor and he needs to be impeached.

Sr. had a LOT of knowledge he failed to pass on to his son, like "don't go into Iraq, it's a rat's nest."

Bush, Cheney, Condi, Rummy, and Gonzales are all traitors.

They comprimised the national security of the United States.

I was listening to Thom Hartman today and he had on a former CIA agent.

The guy was saying that it has become increasingly harder for the CIA to recruit foreign "assets" (aka spies) because they fear they could be outed by our government.

We don't know how many assets Bush/Cheney comprimised by outing Plame. We don't know how much nuke material ended up in the hands of terrorists as a direct result of Bush/Cheney's actions. (Plame was working on nuclear WMD)

If anyone should be calling for the resignation of Bush/Cheney it should be the wingnuts. They are supposedly all about duty, honor, country, and loyalty. Well Bush/Cheney have demonstrated they have absolutely NO LOYALTY to the United States.

Mile High Pixie: Yup, lots of knowledge didn’t get passed from father to son; the example you gave plus hundreds of other helpful facts.

Prague Twin: That’s an excellent question.

PoliShifter: You're right, the wingnuts should be outraged by this whole Plamegate deal. It’s amazing how selective they can be with their “national security” paranoia. We need to dismantle the Constitution with the Patriot Act and the Military Tribunals Act in case a terrorist might sneak in, but if a CIA agent is outed just to punish her husband for providing conflicting information about Iraq, the wingnuts are all “hey, no biggie.”

I love the spin from the right on this.
It's amazing, really.
Clinton gets his knob polished and lies about it and the screeching from the Reich Wing was deafening.

Kurt: Things have gotten pretty bad when Reagan and Bush Sr. start looking good.

Mike: I guess the only way the Reich will ever turn against Dumbya is if he gets a BJ from an intern (reminds me of that YouTube video you had at your site a few months ago).

Hi Tom (OT)

You may have heard of the Blogs for Bush founder Mark Noonan...

Anyway, after 9/11 he lamented that he was too old to join the military.

Well not anymore with the enlistment age being raised to 42 for the army.

We are calling on people who will
help send Blogs for Bush Founder Mark Noonan to Iraq

He'll be 42 until Nov '07 so he has to join up soon.

Apparently Noonan isn't answering emails or comments trying to point out to him that he is eligible to serve in Iraq.

We feel that anyone who supports the occupation of Iraq should go server there, preferably Baghdad.

Don't forget about the hot-off-the-press story of the FBI wrongly using the patriot act.

Check my blog for news story links.

PoliShifter: Sounds like a good cause. I'll check out your post. Mark Noonan sounds like the exact kind of person that needs to put up or shut up.

Dizzy: Yup, that's a pretty grim story about the FBI. Like you said, it shouldn't be a bit surprising.

You sure it wasn't 'inside trader'? You know, we'll trade the security of our nation to distract from the cover-ups inside our circle of lying sleaze-bags...

As I also remember,

Daddy Bush resigned his NRA membership after they referred to the secret service as "jackbooted thugs" and Gordon Liddy described on his radio show how to shoot past their body armor.

How about Bush/Carter 2008?

Erik: I didn't know Bush Sr. was in the NRA, or else I forgot. I do remember Liddy talking about body armor. I think he said to aim for the head in case the person was wearing body armor.

Bush/Carter, eh?
